Alvin Lee is a principal in the San Francisco office of Novogradac & Company LLP, where he specializes in real estate and renewable energy transactions by providing audit, tax and consulting services for developers, syndicators and investors. Bernard Husser

Bernard P. Husser, executive vice president of The Richman Group Affordable Housing Corporation (TRGAHC), is a graduate of Boston College and the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Husser has held senior positions in the affordable housing business since 1987, first for a Boston-based development firm where he was responsible for the development, financing and equity syndication of developments including those using low-income housing tax credits (LIHTCs) and historic tax credits (HTCs). Since 1992, as a syndicator, he has closed more than $1.5 billion of LIHTC equity in approximately 200 transactions including more than 75 HUD mixed-finance/public housing transactions and numerous other service-enriched or permanent supportive housing developments. A significant percentage of the mixed-finance/public housing transactions were self-developed by housing authorities. Mr. Husser joined TRGAHC in 2009 after 17 years at another large syndication firm and its predecessors. He manages TRG’s Boston office and is responsible for identifying transactions for corporate investors, coordinating due diligence and structuring and closing the equity investments. His primary focus is on urban revitalization developments with both for and nonprofit partners, public housing revitalization, RAD and subsidized housing. Mr. Husser is the immediate past-chairman of the Board of the National Housing & Rehabilitation Association (NH&RA) and former president of the Council for HOPE VI and Mixed Finance. Mr. Husser also served on the board of the Illinois Housing Council and is a former executive associate of the Boston College Center for Asset Management. Mr. Husser has often guest lectured at Harvard University for an affordable housing case-study course offered jointly through the Graduate School of Design and the Kennedy School.
Raoul F. Moore

As senior vice president for Enterprise Community Investment Inc., Raoul Moore oversees the efforts to originate, analyze, structure and acquire low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) developments throughout the United States for Enterprise’s national, regional and proprietary LIHTC investment funds. Since assuming this role in 2009, he has directed the investment of more than $3 billion. In addition, Mr. Moore is responsible for Enterprise’s Opportunity Fund, a non-LIHTC investment fund targeting the preservation of existing affordable and workforce housing stock. Mr. Moore has spent more than 30 years in the real estate industry and has extensive experience in development, finance, deal structuring, asset management, leasing and sales. Before joining Enterprise, Mr. Moore spent more than 13 years with a national LIHTC syndicator, most recently as vice president of acquisition, where he co-directed all LIHTC acquisition transactions in the United States. Mr. Moore holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Denver.
Stacie Nekus

Stacie Nekus is a senior vice president, investor relations for The Alliant Company. She is responsible for raising and placing equity investments by institutional and corporate investors in both proprietary and multi-investor funds. Ms. Nekus has been in the real estate industry for more than 20 years working in the affordable, investment and industrial sectors. From 2002 to 2011, Ms. Nekus worked for a large nationally recognized tax credit syndication firm. Prior to joining Alliant, Ms. Nekus was the managing director of investor relations working with a large cross section of investors to syndicate more than $1 billion in equity. She is a highly respected professional in the industry who plays a very active role within the industry and with various organizations. You will find also her participating on equity panels at numerous national and state conferences. Ms. Nekus earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in Indiana.
Roy Faerber

Roy Faerber leads Boston Financial’s west coast equity production group. In this capacity, he originates, structures and negotiates low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) investments. Mr. Faerber has specialized in affordable, multifamily housing for 15 years. His extensive industry experience includes generating more than $800 million in LIHTC and developing credit and debt structures for the tax-exempt and taxable financed tax credit properties. Mr. Faerber is based in Los Angeles and is a frequent speaker at state and national conferences.
